My name's Mick Young

I am an Australian-born spiritual development mentor, therapeutic coach and singer/songwriter.

I've spent 20 years steeping myself in western spirituality and meditation and I spent 3 years studying at the seminary for the Christian Community in Hamburg, Germany (a non-dogmatic movement started with the support of Rudolf Steiner's spiritual insights, ordaining women since it's inception in 1924). I also trained with the Robbins-Madanes transformational coaching centre.

I first became interested in spirituality after having rejected traditional religion and declaring myself agnostic at around 18.

Victor Frankl's "Man's Search for Meaning" made me realise there was more to life than what we see around us and sent me on a journey exploring many traditions, belief systems and spiritual practices.

It wasn't until later that I came across the work of Rudolf Steiner. The mix of moral logic, scientific exactitude in spiritual matters and the thought that we could "develop spiritual organs of perception" was a turning point for me.

Looking back on childhood, I realised that I had had spiritual experiences but didn't realise what they were at the time.

My interest in life-after-death grew and I realised that Steiner's insights mirrored those of people who had experienced a NDE although he went even further and into even more detail.

I later realised that we can support loved ones who have died on their journey, which enables them to support us, builds a bridge between the spiritual world and the Earth, and serves to help all life.

I started bringing this knowledge to people and found that it, combined with certain spiritual practices, brought comfort, healing and a renewed enthusiasm and purpose in life.
